India Vs New Zealand 1st Test 2010

1^st ICC test match of India Vs New Zealand  3 test series  started today i.e on 4^th November 2010. Match played at Sardar Patel Stadium, Motera, Ahmadabad. 

After a long gap Indian test captain M.S Dhoni won the toss today morning. He continuously lost the toss in 9 test matches. Indian are ahead on the 1^st day of test  match by scoring 329/3, a 237 partnership between Virender Sehwag (173) and Rahul Dravid (104) help India to reach that score on Day 1.

In the morning Gautam Gambhir (21) and Virender Sehwag started well with 60 runs stand, then Gambhir loss his wicket to Jesse Ryder. Virender Sehwag went on to make his 22nd Test century hitting Vettori over mid-wicket for a four.

Rahul Dravid started very slowly but given a good support to Virender Sehwag that both went on to have mammoth stand of 237. 

Sachin Tendulkar (13*) and VVS Laxman (7*) Saw India through the Day with 329.
