Champions League Twenty20:


Another Twenty20 feast is ready for the cricket lover in India, which is Champions League Twenty20 2011 tournament. Champions League twenty20 going to start from September 23rd 2011 to October 9th 2011. It’s a 23 match twenty20 tournament played between 11 twenty20 teams of different countries. These teams are selected or qualified for champion’s league based on the team’s performance in local twenty20 tournaments conducted by respective cricket boards.


The Final of CLT20 played on 9th October 2011 at MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chepauk, Chennai, out of 23 matches 10 CLT20 2011 matches are played at MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chepauk, Chennai and 9 matches played at M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bangalore, 4 matches played at Eden Gardens, Kolkata.


From Indian Premier League four teams will be participating in Champions League 2011 they are Chennai Super Kings, Kolkata Knight Riders, Mumbai Indians, and Royal Challengers Bangalore.

Indians seen a surprise player entry in ODI squad against England, he was one among the greatest players, who scored more than 10,000 runs in ODI, and he was dropped from the ODI matches with hispoor home performance against Australia in 2007, He is non other than our great wall “Rahul Dravid”.

Yes you read correctly, Rahul dravid got an re entry in one day international, selectors on Saturday i.e. 6th august 2011 selected the players for ODI and twenty20 series against England.

Harbhajan Singh and Yuvraj Singh are omitted from the squad due to their injuries. Manoj Tiwary, Shikhar Dhawan and S Badrinath who played in West Indies are left out against England.
