in About Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar:

Tendulkar one of the greatest batsmen of India was born in a Brahmins family in Mumbai. He has two brothers and one sister.
Sachin Tendulkar in his high school took the cricket guidance under Coach Ramakanth Achrekar. He also attended the MRF pace foundation to be trained as a fast bowler. In his childhood he used to spend most of his time with his coach for practicing but he used to get bored frequently by practicing. So once Sachin coach put a one rupee coin on the stumps and asked bowlers that, who made sachin out would get the coin on stumps and if Sachin Tendulkar passes the session without being out he would get the coin. Till today Sachin Tendulkar preserves those 13 coins which he won from his coach Ramakanth Achrekar.

Sachin Tendulkar played his first test match against Pakistan in Karachi at the age of 16. In this match Wakar Younis bowled Sachin Tendulkar for 15 runs. In other game played at Peshawar Tendulkar made 53 runs out of 18 balls. Out of these 53 balls 28 runs were made only in one over which was later called as “one of the best innings I have seen” by then Indian captain Kris Srikanth.
Tendulkar not only thinks about his career but also helps society by sponsoring 200 unprivileged children through his mother-in-law organization apnalaya. Sachin raised a request in twitter against the crusade cancer foundation and in result is 10.25 million for the foundation.
