Shane Warne Ball of Century

The wicket of Gatting taken by Shane Warne on 2nd day of 1st test match in 1993 Ashes test series between England and Australia created a history in Cricket. The way the Shane Warne taken the wicket was unimaginable, it is called as “Shane Warne Ball of Century” | “Gatting Ball” | “Ball of the Century” and many more names to that ball.

The 1st test match (3rd June 1993 to 7th June 1993) of 1993 Ashes Series between England and Australia is played at Played at Old Trafford, Manchester. Australia won that match by 179 Runs.

The ball travels straight first and then it drift right side of the batsmen, after hitting the ground the Ball spun towards left and hits the top of off stumps.

In that match Shane Warne took 8 wickets and awarded Man of the Match. In 1993 Ashes series Shane Warne took 34 wickets on an average of 25.79 and named as Man of series.
