Indian squad for ICC ODI series with South Africa.

BCCI not taking any chances before ICC World Cup 2011 in picking the players, that’s why they are going with full strength for ODI series and one Twenty20 International with South Africa. Indian selectors decided this because coming ODI series with South Africa will be the last ODI international matches India will be playing before the bigger event i.e ICC World Cup 2011 in February.

The senior players those who are rested for New Zealand ODI series are picked up for ODI internationals between India vs. South Africa starting from 12 January to 23rd January 2011. Master batsman Sachin Tendulkar is playing the ODI after 10 months, Sachin played his last international ODI in February 2010 versus South Africa in India, and he made double hundred in that match at Gwalior against South Africa.
