Indian Premier League 2011 Time Table (IPL Twenty20 Season 4 Time Table)


First my hearty congrats to Team India for winning the ICC Cricket World Cup 2011.

The IPL festival is going to start in India from 8th April 2011, the short format or most exciting or most entertaining form of cricket is going to start from April 8th 2011. Indian premier league season 4 will be more enjoyed by the people from entire world.

2 new teams have been added to this year IPL twenty20 2011 season 4. Team Kochi and team from Puna are the new teams participating in this year Indian premier league 4.

The opening match of IPL 4 is between Chennai super kings and Kolkata knight riders on 8th April 2011.

9th April - Deccan v Rajasthan at Hyderabad (Deccan) & Tuskers v Bangalore at Kochi
10th April - Delhi v Mumbai at Delhi and Pune v Punjab at Mumbai

Saturday May 28th 2011 Indian Premier League 2011 Final will be played at MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chepauk, Chennai

The IPL 2011 Draw (Indian Premiere League 2011 Draw)
In previous Indian premier league (IPL 2010) season each team played 14 league matches 7 matches in home and another 7 away from home. But as the number of teams increased for IPL 2011 season the numbers of matches played at home and away are changed. But total numbers of matches each team will play are 14. In Indian Premier League 2011 season which is going to start from April 8th 2011 the draw has been changed as each team will play 5 matches with 5 other teams home and away which makes 10 matches for each team, for the other 4 matches two teams will play only at home, and the remaining two teams only play away. A random draw will decide who plays whom once and twice.

Australia vs England 4th Test - Melbourne

England Won the Ashes 4th Test

That was the huge win for the England by Innings and 157 runs; by this win they retain the Ashes series. England really outplayed the Australians, England batsmen and bowlers played their part in winning the Ashes 4th Test Match at Melbourne Cricket Ground. From Australia Haddin (55) and Watson (54) are the only players who crossed 50.

That’s great come back by the Indians by winning the 2nd Test match by 87 runs and leveling the 3 test match series by 1-1, South Africa bowled out for 215, now the series is wide open to both South Africa and India. India will be trying hard to win the 1st test series in South Africa. South Africa will try to bounce back very strongly in the 3rd test match between India vs. South Africa from January 2nd 2011 to January 6th 2011 at Newlands, Cape Town.

Indian vs. South Africa ODI, Twenty20 International

Indian squad for ICC ODI series with South Africa.

BCCI not taking any chances before ICC World Cup 2011 in picking the players, that’s why they are going with full strength for ODI series and one Twenty20 International with South Africa. Indian selectors decided this because coming ODI series with South Africa will be the last ODI international matches India will be playing before the bigger event i.e ICC World Cup 2011 in February.

The senior players those who are rested for New Zealand ODI series are picked up for ODI internationals between India vs. South Africa starting from 12 January to 23rd January 2011. Master batsman Sachin Tendulkar is playing the ODI after 10 months, Sachin played his last international ODI in February 2010 versus South Africa in India, and he made double hundred in that match at Gwalior against South Africa.

Bad luck for Rohit Sharma and Saurabh Tiwary who played all the previous games but not selected for ODI series between India vs. South Africa.

The present Indian squad for South Africa series consists of six batsmen, one wicket keeper (MS Dhoni), all-rounder Yusuf Pathan and total 8 bowlers with five fast bowlers and 3 spinners.

India won the 5th ODI comprehensively; India Won the ODI series with 5-0, young Indian white washed the kiwis 5-0.

New Zealand was all out for just 103 in 27 overs, 24 runs (Scott Styris) is the highest score made by an New Zealand batsmen.

Indian spinners Ravichandran Ashwin (3 wickets), Yuvraj Singh (2 wickets) and Yusuf Pathan (2 wickets) shared 7 New Zealand wickets among them.

India completed the match in 21.1 overs with 5.06 run rate.
