Indian Premier League (IPL) 2009 Second Session Auction Details

IPL 2009 auction section is held in GOA. The auction for foreign player has tacken place for 2 hours. Total of seventeen players have bought in IPL 2009 auction.

The first buy in IPL 2009 auction started by Rajasthan Royals by taking Austalian fast bowler Shaun Tait for $US 375,000
The Second player auctioned was JP Duminy South Africa new batsmen who had an excellent series in Australia, was bought by Mumbai Indians for $US 950,000. JP Duminy's base price was $US 300,000
The next bidding was for the England best allrounder Andrew Flintoff, Flintoff's base price was $US 950,000. The IPL 2009 auction for Andrew Flintoff started at $US 950,000 and very soon Rajasthan royals raised the bidding by $US 1.5 Millions, then Chennai Super kings joined the bidding and raised the prise by $US 1.55 millions and cliched the Andrew Flintoff in to IPL Chennai Super Kings team.
The next bidding was for Kevin Pieterson, KP bidding price started at $US 1.35 millions by Bangalore royal challengers, the Rajasthan royals delayed in bidding for KP, the next moment Banaglore royal challengers bid for $US 1.55 millions for KP and bought KP in to IPL bangalore royal challengers team. Now Kevin peterson and Andrew Flintoff are expense players in Indian premier league 2009 (IPL 2009) second session.
Fidel Edwards the West Indies wast bowler base price was $US 150,000 and he was bought by Deccan Chargers for the same base price.
The next bidding for England batsmen Owais Shah, his bidding started by Delhi Daredevils at his base price $US 150,000. Owais Shah was bought by Delhi daredevils for $US 270,000 where their was competition by Kolkata Night riders and Bangalore royal challengers
The next biddding was for Paul Collindwood. His biddind was started by Bagalore royal challengers for $US 250,000 which was his base price, but the bidding was rised by Delhi daredevils to $US 275,000, the next bidding was not raised by Bangalore. So, paul collingwood was bought by Deldhi dare devils for $US 275,000
The next bidding was for Tyron Henderson a medium pacer, his bidding was started at his base price $US 100,000, the intrested candidates were the Deccan charger and Rajasthan Royals, in the middle of the bidding Mumbai raised the bidding of Henderson to $US 200,000 the Deccan bid for $US 300,000 then Rajastan raised the bid by $US 325,000, then Deccan raised the bid for US$ 400,000, Rajasthan raised the bid for $US 425,000 then Deccan raised the bid for $US 450,000, then Rajasthan went to $US 475,000, but deccan did not stoped the bidding for Tyron Henderson raised it to $US 500,000, Rajasthan also was very strong to bid for Tyron and raised the bid to $US 550,000, Deccan raised the did to $US 600,000, still no stop for Rajasthan they raised the bid to $US 650,000, here the Deccan chargers no longer raised the bidding, lastly Tyron Henderson was bought by Rajasthan Royals for $US 650,000.
Ravi Bopara's was bought by Kings XI punjab for $US 450,000. Their was a competition between Chennai, Bangalore and Punjab in the bidding for Ravi Bopara
Shelve Jesse Ryder went to Bangalore Royal Challengers for $US 160,000. Kyle Mills bought by Mumbai Indians for $US 150,000 which was his base price
Dwayne Smith West Indies allrounder was bought by Deccan Chargers at his base price $100,000
Bangladesh allrounder Mashrafe Mortaza was bought by Kolkata Night Riders for $US 600,000 were initially to bidders come front to bid for him. The competitions was between Punjab and Kolkata. This auction was very long lastly it was won by KOlkata night riders and bought the Mashrafe Mortaza for $US 600,000
Chennai bought George Bailey for $US 50,000 and Kings XI Punjab bought Jerome Taylor for $150,000 which was his base price.
